I don’t use Windows, so I use S&T in free trial mode in a virtual machine. I don’t know if the DVD version is any different, as I did not attempt to use it, and it probably was not usable anyway. I contacted the seller and told him that the thing was fake and broken, and he refunded my money without saying a word. I tried ordering a “legit” disc for S&T 2013 on eBay and it turned out to be a poor counterfeit, a CD-R with the writeable label, and it was so poorly packaged that it was broken in multiple places. It does not provide a series of numbers to enter into the website. The only option is to enter the product key, which the OP does not (as far as I can tell) have. The site listed above will not work with my version of the program at least, as there is no “activate by phone” option visible. But no… they’ve decided a Windows 10 “app” has replaced it, and I’m not interested in any UWP anything, certainly not on Windows 7 or 8.1. Microsoft Streets and Trips was a mapping and routing program that helped lay the foundation for personal GPS systems. Not a lot of money by their lofty standards, of course, but every bit adds up. I’d be happy to simply pay the license fee and receive nothing other than the product key… no support, no map updates, nothing at all but money in their pocket. I would happily pay for the program if they would give me the opportunity, but of course, they don’t. It’s unfortunate that MS has decided to give up on the market, and the money that goes with it. There are some decent free alternatives though which others have. But this is one that has NEVER worked in WIndows 10. If there was a way to get it running for you, I surely would. Like you said, I also think S&T is the best mapping program I am aware of on the PC platform, even 7 years later. Unfortunately Streets and Trips Activation servers are shut down so there is no way to activate it, and the program itself is also discontinued and shutting down. It’s the full version too, if you happen to have a product key, as it gives the choice of trial or registration at program start. I can download the trial version (2007) but I cant find the product registration key. Ironic, since there’s no option to ever purchase it should the trial prove successful. I am trying to transfer Streets and trips to my laptop. Microsoft makes the installer for the trial version of S&T 2013 available on their site, or at least they did last I checked (about a year or two ago, long after it was discontinued). So…I’ve purchased a new disc of S&T 2013 on Amazon, but I am worried that when it arrives & I load it…I will have the same problem.Īny ideas as to what to do?…thanx in advance, Went into my registry & cleaned out any entry that had to do w/ the program…reinstalled…but I still needed to register for the app to run longer that 30 days. Microsoft Streets & Trips (kostenlose Version) für PC herunterladen Microsoft Streets & Trips herunterladen kostenlose. Had a disk for S&T 2008…but could not also register online w/ MS…after 1 shot I could not use the program. (& the fact that MS discontinued all official S&T downloads) I had originally purchased & downloaded S&T 2011…but the chance to register was gone, w/ no disk (& no registry keys to go along w/ copying/pasting the program files over from backup). Did a reinstall of Win 7 Pro (got corrupted somehow) & did not back up my registry settings.
